Since its inception in 1974, SAF has been involved in more than 260 legal cases across the nation and has litigated – and won – cases at the highest levels of the American judicial system. The organization now has 59 active cases across the U.S., all with the goal of protecting our right as Americans to keep and bear arms.

- SAF Files Brief in New York Case Prohibiting Electronic Arms: Motion for summary judgment with the U.S. District Court seeking a final resolution to a lawsuit challenging state and municipal laws prohibiting private citizens from possessing and using stun guns and tasers.

- SAF Files Reply Brief in Lawsuit Against N.M. Gov. Lujan Grisham: Federal lawsuit challenging New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s prohibition of lawful carrying of arms in Albuquerque and surrounding Bernalillo County.
